We chop approximately one inch of roots off to stimulate growth prior to planting the tree in the hole.

Each tree is hand placed in the hole, packed, watered and fertilized.

We prune the tree to help it grow into a nice shape. We start the process when the tree is approximately three feet tall and continue doing the pruning each year until harvested.

In addition to pruning we need to remove problem spots with hand snips.
